Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition, networking forum, and stepping stone that brings together a diverse & interdisciplinary pool of students, researchers, & early-career professionals by providing a stage for breakthrough ideas both globally & locally.

 

What is the Falling Walls Lab Competition?

Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition, networking forum, and stepping stone that brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary pool of students, researchers, and early-career professionals by providing a stage for breakthrough ideas both globally and locally.

Our multifaceted formats support our participants in driving their innovations and develop their communication skills, fostering collaboration and creating a space for our impactful and sustainable community to thrive.

How much time do we have to present our idea?

In three minutes each, participants are given the opportunity to present their solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time to peers, a high-calibre jury of experts from academia and business, and the general public.

When is the submission deadline for the Falling Walls Lab in Malaysia?

When is the Falling Walls Lab in Malaysia taking place?

The event will tentatively take place on the 22nd of September, 2021.

Where will the Falling Walls Lab event in Malaysia take place?

As of now, due to the current situation in the country, a venue has not been finalised. If in-person meetings are allowed by the 22nd of September, then the event will take place in Kuala Lumpur and a venue will be made known close to the date.

What will the winners receive?

For winning the Falling Walls Lab in Malaysia, winners will qualify for the global Finale in Berlin on 7 November and win a ticket to attend the Falling Walls Conference, where other finalists get to interact and network with the world’s movers and shakers of science, business, and policy-making.
